Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Stageclue ("we") is made by SmolTech Solutions UG, Albestraße 21, 12159 Berlin, Germany (smoltech.io), which is responsible for your data. This policy explains what the Stageclue apps collect, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: privacy@stageclue.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in with a code or link, and so castmates can send you a role.
- Your name, shown to the castmates in scripts you share.
- Scripts you import and the edits you make. A script you share is visible to the people you share it with.
- Recordings of your own lines, made only while you rehearse a role you have taken, and shared with the cast of that script so they can rehearse with your voice.
- Rehearsal passes you buy (the purchase record, not your payment details, which Apple or Google handle), so a pass follows your account to another phone.
- Feedback you send, with the app version and language.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not show ads or sell data.
Who processes it
Your data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany), and sign-in emails are sent through Resend. They process it only to provide Stageclue. Purchases go through Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Scripts, recordings and your account are kept while you use Stageclue. Deleting a script removes it from your library and your place in its cast; the lines you recorded for that cast stay with it, so your castmates can keep rehearsing. Deleting your account — in the app under Account → Delete account, or by writing to privacy@stageclue.app — removes your account, your scripts, every line you recorded, your passes and your feedback, for good. Scripts you shared stay with your castmates, without you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to privacy@stageclue.app. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Stageclue is not directed at children under 13.
